About The Linda Low Team

Meet Our Team

Rob & Linda Low

Linda SMALLRob SMALLThe Linda Low Team was formed in 2002 by founder Linda Low.  Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Linda studied history and moved to Europe to teach for the Department of Defense schools in Germany, France and the Netherlands, where she met her husband, Rob.  Upon returning to the US, they made their home in Mount Pleasant, and Linda taught history at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School.  She moved from teaching into working as an historic preservation consultant in many of Washington’s historic neighborhoods.

A founding board member of Historic Mount Pleasant, Linda was elected to the Mount Pleasant Advisory Neighborhood Commission and served as Chairman of the Commission for two terms in the early 1980s.  Linda’s lifelong interests in history, architecture, and interior design soon led her to help found Historic Mount Pleasant, Inc, and to work with the DC Preservation League to attain federal historic district status for the Mount Pleasant, Cleveland Park, and Kalorama Triangle neighborhoods.  In 1985, she began her career in residential real estate and soon became one of the area’s top residential agents.

Rob Low, Linda’s husband and partner, joined the team full-time in 2000 after selling his CPA firm which he’d founded and run for over 20 years. A former board member of Historic Mount Pleasant, founding board member of the L’Enfant Trust, and 15-year board member and past President of the DC Historic Preservation league, his experience with historic preservation, renovations, home improvements, and finance has assisted our clients time and time again.  He is a highly experienced sales agent and our team leader, licensed in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
